Just-in-Time Prompts for Running, Walking, and Performing Strength Exercises in the Built Environment: 4-Week Randomized Feasibility Study

A likely effective persuasive strategy is to provide a prompt to engage in a certain behavior [27]. According to the Fogg Behavior Model (FBM) [28,29], the prompt also has to be sent at the right time to effectively change behavior. The right time, or the moment of opportunity, to send a message is when the individual is motivated enough and when they can perform the exercise.
