Patient and Provider Cocreation of Mobile Texting Apps to Support Behavioral Health: Usability Study

The clinic implemented a process of participatory technology development (Figure 1) to facilitate patients and providers to cocreate personal mobile text messaging apps using the Chorus platform created by Arevian et al [15]. Providers were given log-in access to the platform and used the visual web interface with their patients to cocreate the texting apps, as seen in Figure 2.
