Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

The floor effect and the ceiling effect are good [27]. This scale is widely used in current practice in France and the study investigators are accustomed to performing it. Subscores of FMA, specifically FMA-UE and FMA-lower extremity (FMA-LE), from allocation (V0) to the visit 3 months after allocation (V2) are secondary end points. The progression of the FMA score from allocation (V0) to the visit 1 month after allocation (V1) is a secondary end point. Spasticity is assessed using the Tardieu Scale [28].

Improving Phenotyping of Patients With Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases Through Automated Processing of Discharge Summaries: Multicenter Cohort Study

Improving Phenotyping of Patients With Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases Through Automated Processing of Discharge Summaries: Multicenter Cohort Study

A posteriori precision analysis also showed very good results (97.3% for laboratory tests and 100% for drugs). Finally, as shown in Tables 4 and Table 5, our study highlights significant improvements in information availability by enriching structured data with information extracted from unstructured data. Beyond these results, our findings are consistent with those of previous studies.

Assessing the Noninferiority of a Rhythm and Language Training Serious Game Combined With Speech Therapy Versus Speech Therapy Care for Children With Dyslexia: Protocol for an Investigator-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial

Assessing the Noninferiority of a Rhythm and Language Training Serious Game Combined With Speech Therapy Versus Speech Therapy Care for Children With Dyslexia: Protocol for an Investigator-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial

The “Recommendations for good practice in the assessment, prevention, and treatment of written language disorders in children and adults” by the Collège Français d’Orthophonie [14] describe three different modes of intervention for patients affected by SLD: (1) corrective treatment targets underlying cognitive deficits (eg, phonological or visual-attentional deficits) and various processes involved in identifying written words (eg, graphophonological conversion, phonological decoding, orthographic memory, and

HUMAn, a Real-Time Evolutive Patient Model for Major Incident Simulation: Development and Validation Study

HUMAn, a Real-Time Evolutive Patient Model for Major Incident Simulation: Development and Validation Study

The diversity of simulated clinical cases, which included nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory pathologies, and its suitability for real-time calculations makes this model a good candidate for inclusion in major incident simulations. Many kinds of simulations could be considered, computer-based table-tops and serious games, practical exercises without casualties, and even full-scale simulations. In this latter case, tablets could be used to display the vital parameters of simulated patients.

(excellent, very good, good, fair, fair, or poor). Self-efficacy is defined as the individual’s confidence to quit cannabis and tobacco [33]. This will be assessed by asking participants, “To what extent do you feel capable of quitting cannabis consumption?” using a Likert scale ranging from 0 to 10 (0= very low to 10= very high). Sociodemographic variables are (baseline) sex, age, education level, employment status, and occupation.

Development and Delivery of an Integrated Digital Health Care Approach for Children With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Usability Study

Development and Delivery of an Integrated Digital Health Care Approach for Children With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Usability Study

This means pain can persist despite good disease control [6,23] and become widespread throughout the body, such as in both the affected and unaffected knee [24]. Understandably, it is essential that pain fluctuations for JIA are meticulously monitored, and appropriate treatments quickly initiated to achieve pain-free remission [12,15]. Exercise is prescribed for children with JIA because of the abundant health benefits [25].
