Exploring Stress and Stress-Reduction With Caregivers and Clinicians in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to Inform Intervention Development: Qualitative Interview Study

Exploring Stress and Stress-Reduction With Caregivers and Clinicians in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to Inform Intervention Development: Qualitative Interview Study

And I was like, “I will come tomorrow.” You have this pressure on you. Caregivers reported significant confusion and uncertainty in the NICU due to a lack of information, which they reported increased their stress. Many reported having unanswered questions about day-to-day procedures in the NICU, who the staff were that cared for their babies, and what they could expect in the future. When I went into labour, I didn’t know how early you could have a baby, or what the survival rate was.

Public Disclosure of Results From Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Research in Health Care: Comprehensive Analysis of ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, and Scopus Data (2010-2023)

Public Disclosure of Results From Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Research in Health Care: Comprehensive Analysis of ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, and Scopus Data (2010-2023)

All the transparency in the field will not suffice unless informed community members critically engage with the key dimensions intrinsic to AI/ML that must be addressed. As preprints gain wider visibility, the role of community literacy will grow increasingly important. First, to identify relevant publications, we searched for study identifiers (NCT numbers) in the title, abstract, and “trial registration” fields in Pub Med, while in Scopus, we searched the title and abstract fields.

Introducing Novel Methods to Identify Fraudulent Responses (Sampling With Sisyphus): Web-Based LGBTQ2S+ Mixed-Methods Study

Introducing Novel Methods to Identify Fraudulent Responses (Sampling With Sisyphus): Web-Based LGBTQ2S+ Mixed-Methods Study

Still, there may be important distinctions between AMAB individuals and racialized LGBTQ2 S+ people, which future analyses with this dataset will examine. While the sample had a wide age range (16-74 y), the mean age of the sample was 25.87 (SD 7.77) years. This may be partly because a majority of the sample (811/957, 84.7%) reported learning about the study through social media and because the survey was only available on the web.

Treatment Outcomes From Erlotinib and Gefitinib in Advanced Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor–Mutated Nonsquamous Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer in Aotearoa New Zealand From 2010 to 2020: Nationwide Whole-of-Patient-Population Retrospective Cohort Study

Safety outcomes were not included in this analysis but will be the subject of subsequent reports. Outcomes from treatment with erlotinib and gefitinib in this New Zealand cohort of patients with advanced EGFR-mutant nonsquamous NSCLC were comparable to those reported in randomized controlled trials and other large-scale health care system–wide retrospective cohort studies.

Traversing Shifting Sands—the Challenges of Caring for Someone With Alzheimer's Disease and the Impact on Care Partners: Social Media Content Analysis

Traversing Shifting Sands—the Challenges of Caring for Someone With Alzheimer's Disease and the Impact on Care Partners: Social Media Content Analysis

Worldwide, an estimated 55 million people were living with AD in 2019, and by 2050 a projected 139 million people will be living with AD [2]. Common symptoms of AD include memory impairment, disorientation, loss of function, and mood or behavior changes [3]. In the final and most severe stage of dementia, cognitive and functional abilities are significantly impaired, resulting in an increasing need for care and support [4].

Assessment, Decision, Adaptation, Production, Topical Experts-Integration, Training, and Testing (ADAPT-ITT) Framework to Tailor Evidence-Based Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Treatment for People With HIV to Enhance Engagement and Adherence: Qualitative Results from a Feasibility Randomized Controlled Trial

This study presents qualitative findings of feedback solicited to assess reactions to the new intervention and elicit critiques that will guide future efforts to refine and tailor CPT-L. Aligned with the ADAPT-ITT model, the CPT-L adaptation process will comprise 8 phases: assessment, decision, adaptation, production, topical expert, integration, training, and testing; and it has primarily been used in the context of HIV [33].

A Digital Parenting Intervention With Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Content: Quantitative Pre-Post Pilot Study

A Digital Parenting Intervention With Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Content: Quantitative Pre-Post Pilot Study

First, we will discuss the key findings on levels of user engagement. While the average daily interaction rate was higher in South Africa (0.57 and 0.59 interactions per day for women and men, respectively) compared to Jamaica (0.21 interactions per day), the average number of days users stayed in the program in Jamaica was greater (27 days), compared to South Africa (13 and 3 days for women and men, respectively).

Navigation Training for Persons With Visual Disability Through Multisensory Assistive Technology: Mixed Methods Experimental Study

Navigation Training for Persons With Visual Disability Through Multisensory Assistive Technology: Mixed Methods Experimental Study

In the future, we plan to design experiments that will involve the evaluation of auditory cues individually and in combination to assess their impact on participants’ task performance and overall user experience. Specifically, participants will be immersed in virtual environments simulating crowded urban settings and real-world challenges, including navigating through busy intersections, crossing streets safely, and locating specific points of interest within the urban environment.
