Moreover, many professionals who work with young people in the legal system express interest in meditation practice [10]. Yet research in this area is sparse, and the scalability of existing efforts has been limited. For example, an early pilot trial indicated that in-person, group-based meditation was acceptable and generally feasible among officers in the juvenile legal system [10].

In this context, our research group designed the mixed care model (MAM, from the Spanish Modelo Atencion Mixta), which incorporates the use of information and communication technologies, and also designed a previous pilot study called Digireuma, with the goal of developing a digital health tool for monitoring e PROs in patients with RA and Sp A[6].

Although AI-driven tools have already shown promise in improving diagnosis, triage, and decision-making in emergency department settings [4], in the context of prehospital emergency response, most research has remained at the proof-of-concept stage, highlighting the need for prospective validation to support real-world implementation [6].

With that in mind, in this paper, we aim to conduct a scoping review by assessing research papers from repositories, such as Pub Med and IEEE Xplore, which have used machine learning methods with smartphone-derived data to predict diseases related to the eyes, skin, and voice, and from databases available for public use. We aim to answer the following important research questions:
What are the databases available for eye-, skin-, and voice-related diseases?

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), a federal agency and research institute responsible for disease control and prevention in Germany, has recognized the practical benefits of this approach. At the RKI, an ED syndromic surveillance system has been established in 2020, using daily routine data from the German Emergency Department Data Registry AKTIN [2]. Currently, 58 EDs in 12 German federal states voluntarily provide data for research and surveillance purposes.

Due to the difficulty in measuring real-world influences by diary, survey, or interview, scientific studies lack evidence for many hypothesized relationships between sociocultural and physical environment factors and onset or worsening of LUTS or deterioration of bladder health. To address this gap, the Prevention of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (PLUS) Research Consortium developed a smartphone app called “Where I Go.”

However, a study in the United Kingdom showed that adding an SMS reminder to the standard letter reminder resulted in an increase in participation only among first-time invitees [11]. In addition, a systematic review of SMS text message interventions for cancer screening found that they had a small effect on CRC screening rates, ranging from 0.6% to 3.3% [12]. There is, therefore, a need for further research to explore the potential of this approach more comprehensively.

As this is an existing program being evaluated, a sample size calculation is not necessary to support the sample required to address the research questions. The flow of mentors and champions through the AMC program is described in Figure 3.

The development of the topic guide will be based on the findings from the qualitative assessment, literature review, and the expertise of the research team, ensuring a systematic approach to data collection. The topic guides will include key open-ended questions, along with probes to allow participants to comfortably express their views on issues related to both the physical and mental health and well-being of students at QU.

Existing findings draw on more than a decade of broad research into time spent on social media and online engagement patterns, including both active and passive social media use [1-3]. The rapidly changing nature of social media related behaviors exacerbates the difficulty of inquiry in this field and necessitates focused social media research questions to try to extend and explain the findings from existing studies to explore this complexity in greater depth.
