Development of an eHealth Mindfulness-Based Music Therapy Intervention for Adults Undergoing Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Qualitative Study

Development of an eHealth Mindfulness-Based Music Therapy Intervention for Adults Undergoing Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Qualitative Study

MT-BCs focus on guiding patients through each session to first learn the attitude through music exercises, then how to apply the attitude to potentially improve their treatment journey. Following the initial content development, we used focus groups and usability and field-testing sessions to refine and finalize the e MBMT content and intervention.

Evaluation of an Online-Based Self-Help Program for Patients With Panic Disorder: Randomized Controlled Trial

Evaluation of an Online-Based Self-Help Program for Patients With Panic Disorder: Randomized Controlled Trial

CBT targets fear and avoidance behavior by psychoeducation, exposure therapy, cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, and acceptance interventions leading to large effect sizes compared with a waitlist group (hedges g=0.96; [12]). Also, effects remain superior to treatment as usual for 6 months of follow-up [13]. Psychopharmacology yields small to moderate effect sizes in comparison to placebo and similar to CBT [14].

Stakeholder Consensus on an Interdisciplinary Terminology to Enable the Development and Uptake of Medication Adherence Technologies Across Health Systems: Web-Based Real-Time Delphi Study

Stakeholder Consensus on an Interdisciplinary Terminology to Enable the Development and Uptake of Medication Adherence Technologies Across Health Systems: Web-Based Real-Time Delphi Study

Addressing the prevalent low adherence to medication is likely to improve the use of limited resources and population health [4]. However, the sustainable implementation of health technologies in routine practice is lagging, in part due to the lack of accessibility to users in real-life settings [5]. Many repositories have been developed to improve accessibility and, thus, facilitate uptake of digital health [6], including digital apps [7] and medication adherence interventions [8].

Shared Decision-Making Tools Implemented in the Electronic Health Record: Scoping Review

Shared Decision-Making Tools Implemented in the Electronic Health Record: Scoping Review

We then categorized each study according to integration methods and features using descriptive content analysis to summarize narrative findings [70]. To do this, we analyzed the various methods used in each of the studies to surface and document SDM tools within the EHR systems. We considered integration to have been achieved so long as the SDM tools surfaced in the clinician’s workflow within the EHR systems.

Understanding Experiences of Telehealth in Palliative Care: Photo Interview Study

Understanding Experiences of Telehealth in Palliative Care: Photo Interview Study

Many of these models of care were transformed during the COVID-19 pandemic to promote physical distancing [12,13]. One such approach for the delivery of specialist palliative care in Australia was a move to telehealth to limit hospital attendance and in-home visits [12].

Health Care Professionals and Data Scientists’ Perspectives on a Machine Learning System to Anticipate and Manage the Risk of Decompensation From Patients With Heart Failure: Qualitative Interview Study

Health Care Professionals and Data Scientists’ Perspectives on a Machine Learning System to Anticipate and Manage the Risk of Decompensation From Patients With Heart Failure: Qualitative Interview Study

The primary researcher emailed potential participants and invited them to a semistructured interview. This email included attachments to the interview guide and a consent form. The participants were required to provide written consent to participate in this study by signing the consent form. A total of 13 participants, representing a diverse range of health care professionals and data science experts, were interviewed for this study.

Use of mHealth Technology for Improving Exercise Adherence in Patients With Heart Failure: Systematic Review

Use of mHealth Technology for Improving Exercise Adherence in Patients With Heart Failure: Systematic Review

Across diverse clinical populations, the effectiveness of home-based exercise programs is found to be similar to that of facility-based exercise programs [25]. In our previous study published in 2017 [26], we updated the state of the science from 2009 [27] in relation to adherence to exercise in patients with HF.

The Effect of the Mediterranean Diet–Integrated Gamified Home-Based Cognitive-Nutritional (GAHOCON) Training Programme for Older People With Cognitive Frailty: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

The Effect of the Mediterranean Diet–Integrated Gamified Home-Based Cognitive-Nutritional (GAHOCON) Training Programme for Older People With Cognitive Frailty: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Cognitive training refers to interventions designed to enhance domain-specific cognitive functions through repeated practice of theoretically driven skills and strategies [7]. Recently, cognitive training has transitioned from face-to-face formats to computerized platforms, offering improved cost-effectiveness, accessibility, and the ability to tailor content and difficulty levels to individual participants [8].

Community Health Worker Videoconferencing Interventions for Disease Management and Health Promotion: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Community Health Worker Videoconferencing Interventions for Disease Management and Health Promotion: Protocol for a Scoping Review

A scoping review was best suited to this research question because we sought to characterize the scope of evidence available rather than to statistically compare outcomes.
