A first attempt toward understanding the characteristics of users who discontinued using Tinnitus Talk was recently made in a master’s thesis published by Hegde [11]. Outside the context of tinnitus, a qualitative study explored the reasons for dropping out of psychotherapy, and found that dissatisfaction with the quality of psychotherapy was the most important factor for patients [12].
