Literature indicates that wrist-worn activity monitors outperform hip-worn monitors when participants walk at speeds of 3-6 km/h [34]. Participants received instructions on how to properly wear the monitor on their nondominant wrist before the assessment. Participants were allowed to remove the Acti Graph during specific activities such as bathing, swimming, and sleeping. They also maintained a daily wear-time log to record the monitor’s on and off times throughout the monitoring period.
