The Post Discharge After Surgery Virtual Care with Remote Automated Monitoring Technology-3 (PVC-RAM-3) trial is a multicenter, parallel-group superiority randomized controlled trial involving 2500 patients undergoing elective noncardiac surgery at 3 Canadian hospitals: Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Center, and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. The trial evaluates the effects of VC-RAM compared to standard care post discharge.
