Factors Influencing the Maintenance of Public Health Behaviors After an Epidemic: Cross-Sectional Study

Factors Influencing the Maintenance of Public Health Behaviors After an Epidemic: Cross-Sectional Study

Referring to the study by Li and Wang [26], environmental cues were assessed using 4 items with “yes” or “no” responses, scored as 1 for “no” and 2 for “yes.” A higher score indicated a stronger public perception of external environmental cues. Based on Saghafi-Asl et al’s study [27], social cues were evaluated using 5 items rated on a 5-point scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). A higher score suggested that the public received more social cues about maintenance of health behaviors.
