Consistent with the preparation phase of the Multiphase Optimization Strategy (MOST) framework [46], our team’s prior work [47] used an iterative process through a series of formative studies with adolescents and emerging adults to inform and refine our m Health app (see Rabbi et al [47]). These prior studies focused on using the initial SARA app for enhancing engagement in daily assessments, which are critical for JITAI tailoring, and did not include delivery of intervention content [47].
