In addition, Kanai et al [26] conducted a study with 55 patients with stroke using accelerometers and found that those who received feedback reported a higher increase in step counts than those who wore the accelerometer but did not receive feedback. Moreno et al [27] reported that among 58 hospitalized patients, those who received education from physical therapists took approximately 1000 steps, on average, more than those who did not receive an education. These findings support those of this study.
