Targeted Behavior Change Communication Using a Mobile Health Platform to Increase Uptake of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets Among Pregnant Women in Tanzania: Hati Salama “Secure Voucher” Study Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

Participants attending one of the 50 clinics allocated to the intervention group received targeted BCC messages on their registered mobile phones at programmed intervals during the 14-day period in which the e-voucher was active. Messages contained health promotion and sensitization information on the importance of malaria prevention and LLIN use during pregnancy, in addition to reminders to redeem the e-voucher for an LLIN at a registered retailer (Textbox 1).

Uptake and Use of Care Companion, a Web-Based Information Resource for Supporting Informal Carers of Older People: Mixed Methods Study

They reported a wide range of different caring responsibilities, with more than half (39/64, 61%) caring for someone who did not receive professional care; the mean time they reported as spent in caring was 6 days per week and 10 hours per day. In total, 33 (52%) of the 64 group-2 participants completed the follow-up survey. Characteristics of group-2 carers who completed the baseline survey (n=64).
