Digital Intervention in Loneliness in Older Adults: Qualitative Analysis of User Studies
The Open University (HREC/3776/Mehta) and Nottingham Trent University (STEVENSON 2020/220 and 2021/346) institutional ethical review boards approved all the stages of data collection.
For studies 1 and 2, information was emailed to participants, and consent was obtained verbally via a video conferencing platform (Teams or Zoom). For study 3, information and consent were obtained through a web-based survey. Participants in all 3 studies received GBP £20 (US $24.55) Amazon vouchers.
