Trends in Avoidable Hospitalizations Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Multiple Cross-Sectional Study Using Administrative Data From Beijing, China

Trends in Avoidable Hospitalizations Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Multiple Cross-Sectional Study Using Administrative Data From Beijing, China

Finally, due to the limited time span of the data, we were unable to explore long-term changes in AH rates after the COVID-19 pandemic, which may help us better understand the long-lasting effects of pandemic-related disruptions in health care usage. These limitations should be addressed in future research. Using administrative discharge data, we found that Beijing had a relatively high AH rate compared with other high-income countries.

The Digital Library of Health Care Consultations and Simulated Health Care Student Teaching: Protocol for a Repository of Recordings to Support Communication Research

Health care consumer surveys (pre- and postconsultation): Health care consumers will be asked to complete a survey before their consultation detailing their demographics, reason for visit, and how long they have known the clinician. Post consultation, they will be asked to complete a survey detailing their consultation experience, including whether they felt respected, felt listened to, and had enough time (Multimedia Appendix 1).

Large Language Model–Assisted Risk-of-Bias Assessment in Randomized Controlled Trials Using the Revised Risk-of-Bias Tool: Usability Study

Large Language Model–Assisted Risk-of-Bias Assessment in Randomized Controlled Trials Using the Revised Risk-of-Bias Tool: Usability Study

All reviewers completed a week-long training on systematic reviews to ensure a consistent understanding of Ro B2. Three reviewers (WZ, DX, and CB) initially conducted independent judgments of 46 RCTs using standardized criteria, recording the time taken for the judgments. All results were resolved through consensus. We randomly selected 3 evaluation results from each category to construct the prompt, which were used as benchmarks to assess the accuracy of the answers generated by the LLMs.

Evaluating the Characteristics and Outcomes of Acute Pharmaceutical Exposure in Children: 5-Year Retrospective Study

Evaluating the Characteristics and Outcomes of Acute Pharmaceutical Exposure in Children: 5-Year Retrospective Study

Second, additional follow-up data are required to explore the long-term effects of pharmaceutical toxic exposures in children. Third, factors such as family health issues, dietary habits, and the pandemic-related lockdown measures were not considered in detail. The increased exposure to neuropsychiatric drugs may be linked to the significant rise in psychological stress faced by children and adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Development and Evaluation of a Patient–Family Caregiver Dyad mHealth Intervention for Heart Failure Self-Care: Quasi-Experimental Study

Development and Evaluation of a Patient–Family Caregiver Dyad mHealth Intervention for Heart Failure Self-Care: Quasi-Experimental Study

Patient-caregiver dyad interventions may improve health outcomes for both, maximize health care efficiency, reduce resource consumption, and yield long-term cost savings [8]. Specifically, m Health interventions may reduce the barriers of time and space found in traditional dyadic interventions, offering a more accessible approach.

Effectiveness of Telemedicine on Wound-Related and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patients With Chronic Wounds: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Effectiveness of Telemedicine on Wound-Related and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patients With Chronic Wounds: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Patients with chronic wounds typically experience complex conditions, thus necessitating long hospital stays averaging 13 days [9]. Due to constraints such as bed turnover rates and hospitalization costs, these patients often do not fully recover in hospital settings and must continue receiving care at home. This transition poses challenges, especially when primary care nurses and family caregivers lack adequate knowledge and resources for effective wound management.

Effectiveness of a WeChat Mini Program–Based Intervention on Promoting Multiple Health Behavior Changes Among Chinese Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases in Home-Based Rehabilitation: Randomized Controlled Trial

Effectiveness of a WeChat Mini Program–Based Intervention on Promoting Multiple Health Behavior Changes Among Chinese Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases in Home-Based Rehabilitation: Randomized Controlled Trial

Addressing depressive symptoms in CVD patients may require the future development of long-term, comprehensive behavioral interventions that incorporate guidance, information, stress management, and relaxation techniques. This approach is further validated by the success of another intervention targeting rehabilitation patients with myocardial infarction [66]. Overall, hypothesis 3 was partially supported.
