Health Care Workers’ Perspectives on the Barriers and Facilitators to Digital Health Technology Use to Support Symptomatic Cancer Diagnosis in Southern Africa: Qualitative Study

Audio recordings and transcriptions were stored in a secure drive on the laptop of SD. SD shared anonymized transcriptions with KDA and NT through Microsoft Share Point (Microsoft Corp), which required a 1-time PIN sent via their work emails each time a file was opened.

A Supplemental Women’s Health Questionnaire for Women Veterans With Military Environmental Exposures: Project Development and Implementation

A Supplemental Women’s Health Questionnaire for Women Veterans With Military Environmental Exposures: Project Development and Implementation

This increase represents a more than 300% growth among women using VA primary care [3], yet despite these improvements, women are still a minoritized group with less than 30% of all women veterans enrolled in VA services [2]. Within the VA, women are more likely to have higher outpatient utilization, be younger, and represent a more racially or ethnically diverse group compared to men [2].

Sodium Oxybate as a Potential New Treatment for Catatonia in Patients With Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or a Psychotic Disorder: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Sodium Oxybate as a Potential New Treatment for Catatonia in Patients With Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or a Psychotic Disorder: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

It is hypothesized that catatonia is caused by either a dysfunction of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors or a deficit in GABA [6,7]. Current treatment options target this neurotransmitter imbalance. Catatonia is a clinical syndrome characterized by a distinct constellation of psychomotor disturbances. A total of 2 subtypes have been described: retarded and excited [1,2].

Terminology and Definitions of Racial Health Equity in Prominent Health Websites: Systematic Review

Terminology and Definitions of Racial Health Equity in Prominent Health Websites: Systematic Review

A total of 121 websites were included for systematic synthesis. A website list was generated and 2 members of the study team (MBD plus ET or MB) reviewed the website home page to determine final inclusion. Disagreements were resolved by discussion with a third reviewer (PH). A comprehensive list of terms representing racial health equity concepts was compiled for analysis.

Depathologizing Queer Adults’ Dating App Use in Canada: Convergent Mixed Methods Study

Model fit was assessed using a comparative fit index (CFI) of >0.95, a Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) of >0.90, a root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) of The SEM used a single-indicator latent variable approach for all variables, where observed scores are used as a single indicator of latent variables while accounting for measurement error by specifying a score for reliability; scale means were used as single indicators, and the Cronbach α accounted for measurement error [72,98].

The Added Value of Parents Practicing in Virtual Reality to Illustrate the Use of Innovative Methods in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy: Single-Case Experimental Design

The Added Value of Parents Practicing in Virtual Reality to Illustrate the Use of Innovative Methods in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy: Single-Case Experimental Design

Specifically, when VR was used as a skills trainer, a meta-analysis showed positive results in creating practice opportunities to increase knowledge-based skills [34]. Furthermore, a meta-analysis that supported the addition of VR to a variety of psychological treatments showed promising results and that it has the potential to support clinical populations [33].

A Human-Centered Approach for a Student Mental Health and Well-Being Mobile App: Protocol for Development, Implementation, and Evaluation

A Human-Centered Approach for a Student Mental Health and Well-Being Mobile App: Protocol for Development, Implementation, and Evaluation

A recurrent theme across these sessions was the absence of a personalized, regularly updated medium through which students could effectively engage with available university resources. Although a range of services existed, participants emphasized the need for an integrated system to support continuous search, discovery, and engagement.

Intervention for Justice-Involved Homeless Veterans With Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Trial

Using a hybrid type 1 effectiveness-implementation design [55], we will test the effectiveness of the MISSION-CJ intervention in a randomized controlled trial (RCT) across 2 large VA health care systems as well as conduct a qualitative evaluation of MISSION-CJ’s implementation.

Streamlining a Patchwork - Exploring the Challenges of Digital Transformation in Pathology: Ethnographic Study

Streamlining a Patchwork - Exploring the Challenges of Digital Transformation in Pathology: Ethnographic Study

A key analogue practice in pathology that is now being digitized via whole-slide imaging is diagnosis. This means that, instead of examining tissue samples on glass slides under a microscope, the glass slide is scanned as a high-resolution image, and the digital slide is examined on a computer screen. Digitizing this step can be seen as a paradigm shift in the digital transformation of pathology. It affects the entire pathology workflow [6].
