Although not statistically significant, there was a moderate difference on the total Stim Q2 READ scale between group 1 (ie, those who completed the program) and group 2 (ie, those who had not yet begun; Cohen d=0.55; P=.23). However, there were large and statistically significant differences between the groups on the quantity and quality subdomains (Cohen d=1.01; P=.04 and Cohen d=0.99; P=.02). By contrast, the between-group difference on the PVR scale was small and not statistically significant (P=.75).

All identifiable information, such as individuals’ names and personal details, was removed from the completed transcripts. NVivo (version 12; QRS International) was used to manage and store data, which were analyzed according to the principles of interpretive reflexive thematic analysis using the approach described by Braun and Clarke [38] to identify and report themes.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Primary Care: Multidisciplinary Pilot Implementation Study
Paired 1-tailed t tests with 1-sided P values were used with 2-sided 95% CIs to determine the differences in initial and postintervention values for mean glucose, glucose management indicator, coefficient of variation, Hb A1c, time in range, time above range, and time below range.

Among the socioeconomic variables, sex stood out, with a higher probability of women belonging to the skeptical group (OR 1.699; 95% CI (1.187-2.433); P=.004). In addition, both the education and income level variables acted in a similar way—the higher the level of education and income, the lower the probability of belonging to the skeptical group, adding also, in the case of educational level, a lower probability of belonging to the hesitant group.

Two metrics of app use before abandonment were even more heavily right skewed—use of the self-monitoring and education features—so they were recoded as binary (

This wearable device was chosen because of its long battery life (up to 6 d) and its durability, including waterproofing. The Fitbit Sense is equipped with a range of sensors, including a photoplethysmogram sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, an electrodermal activity sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor.
