Some family members chose to hide terminal diagnoses from their loved ones in an attempt to protect them from losing hope, believing that revealing the full extent of the illness might cause them to give up on life [16]. In Malaysia, caregivers also expressed a strong desire to remain with their loved ones and provide care until the end, keeping them happy and shielding them from their emotions. Using Real Electronic Health Records in Undergraduate Education: Roundtable Discussion
We hope that this will provide a foundation for a framework that confronts and mitigates the issues that may arise when using authentic data for education, especially in the context of data presented within EHRs.
