Green: If all four green criteria are met, we will consider the study feasible (unless there is a clear indication from the qualitative interviews and our experience that would improve the study)
At least 80% of the target sample size is recruited within 3 months.
At least 50% of participants engaged with Smart Heart.
At least 60% of participants maintained or improved their Self-Care of Heart Failure Index score.
Attrition ≤20%.

This peace of mind could also increase the potential for autonomy of people with dementia, allowing care partners to take a break (S Green [MEd] and N Stewart [Ph D], personal communication; November 1, 2021; [90]). Relatedly, we found that technology alleviated fears about the safety of people with dementia despite some concerns about invasiveness.
