Experiences of Patients With Mental Health Issues Having Web-Based Access to Their Records: National Patient Survey

Experiences of Patients With Mental Health Issues Having Web-Based Access to Their Records: National Patient Survey

The full national survey was analyzed and presented by Moll et al [22]. In this study, 7 Likert-scale questions, including several items, related to attitudes, information usage, and contacts with care were selected for further analysis in relation to patients with mental health issues. Questions related to general attitudes and information usage were also picked out in order to shed light on any differences regarding how patients view and use the possibilities that Journalen gives.

Errors, Omissions, and Offenses in the Health Record of Mental Health Care Patients: Results from a Nationwide Survey in Sweden

Errors, Omissions, and Offenses in the Health Record of Mental Health Care Patients: Results from a Nationwide Survey in Sweden

Questions were partially developed based on previous studies (Moll et al [8], Kujala et al [35], and Zanaboni et al [36]). Before distribution, the survey was pilot-tested with patients. The pilot study proved to be useful in providing insights into the questions, which involved some changes, such as new words and changes to the sequence of the questions. In Sweden, the survey was administered only in Swedish (Multimedia Appendices 1 and 2).
