Understanding Antecedents of Nurses' and Physicians' Workaround Behavior Regarding Hospital Information Systems: Qualitative Interview Study

Understanding Antecedents of Nurses' and Physicians' Workaround Behavior Regarding Hospital Information Systems: Qualitative Interview Study

Regarding the physician-patient relationship (human factor), we align with Buck et al’s [42] notion of the influence on attitude. They investigate general practitioners’ attitudes towards the use of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis and conclude that physicians are concerned about a possible impairment of the physician-patient relationship when technology is used. We argue that this comparable result can help to concretize the effect of human factors on attitude toward workarounds.
