Improvement of Selected Psychological Parameters and Quality of Life of Patients With Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus Undergoing Transition From Multiple Daily Injections and Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose Directly to the MiniMed 780G Advanced Hybrid Closed-Loop System: Post hoc Analysis of a Randomized Control Study

To compare 2 independent variables, the Student or Welch t test for normally distributed (the Shapiro-Wilk test) continuous variables was performed, otherwise the Mann-Whitney U test was conducted. To compare 2 dependent groups, the paired t test or the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, when appropriate, was used. To test for the effect of treatment allocation on psychological outcomes, analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was conducted, adjusting for treatment arm and baseline values.
